Poster produced for Great Western Railway (GWR), London Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS), London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) and Southern Railway (SR), to promote return tickets at single rates for dogs travelling on their routes. The image shows a small dog sitting on a front doorstep beside his master's luggage, with the words 'I'm Ready' written beneath him. Drinking water for dogs could be obtained from station refreshment rooms or from a member of staff.
