Description
'Dominion of New Zealand' steam locomotive, leaving Potters Bar, 1937. This engine was one of five of its class, named after the largest countries of the British Empire, selected for working 'The Coronation' service between Kings Cross and Edinburgh. Those not working 'The Coronation' service were used on other important expresses such as the non-stop 'Flying Scotsman'.
